Contributor and role context for production notes.

Editorial teams need to know what a note says, where it belongs, and who raised it. Meta Note assigns the signed-in contributor’s name and selected production role to captured notes so the source can travel with the timing and transcription.

The same note text can mean different things depending on who wrote it. “Check the reset” may be a continuity warning, an art department issue, or a direction for the editor to compare takes. Without source context, the assistant editor may need to ask follow-up questions that slow down the handoff.

Contributor and selected-role context gives post a useful clue without asking the person on set to build a separate tagging system for every note.

Choose a production role in Meta Note and captured notes keep that role with the contributor’s name. In DaVinci Resolve, that contributor and role context appears inside the marker note with the transcription.

The result is a clearer handoff with lightweight source context that stays out of the way on set.
